While most of us are extremely thankful the Covid pandemic is over, there are a few things that happened during that bizarre time that we may want to remember. Like this viral parody of a woman who is sick of being quarantined with her husband.
Everyone is familiar with Dolly Parton’s famous song “Jolene”. This song has been a world favorite for several decades. We’ve posted lots of different versions, one of the best being Dolly and her god-daughter Miley Cyrus singing it to ring in the New Year 2023.
But in all the renditions and covers of this song, we are pretty sure none of them have been so hilarious as this one. Garnetta Rickett is a woman with a good sense of humor. During the global pandemic, she decided to sing a parody of this famous song and she made sure everyone laughs.
She begins with, “He’s big and strong, like a bear, he even has all his hair, but I cannot stand him, Jolene.” The idea came up to Garnetta when she was listening to the song on the radio. In a radio interview with Bo and Sheri in the Morning, she rambled on and on about her love for Dolly. With the help of few props and unique facial expressions, she is sure to make your day.
