Ever since we were small, we have been taught not to judge a book by its cover. But we still do so from time to time. When Travis Pratt came on the stage of America’s Got Talent in 2013, that is exactly what happened. Looking at him, nobody could guess the song he was about to sing. The man has a big build, so his choice of song completely left the judges in shock. He had something unexpected up his sleeves that left all the viewers in awe.
Travis decided to sing a beautiful rendition of “Ave Maria” onstage. This classic is one of the toughest songs to cover, but Travis did a wonderful job. Even the most experienced opera singers have trouble doing this song justice. It was a gutsy move on his part, since the song is very difficult to master. The judges were visibly impressed as the man hit the right notes flawlessly one after the other. I am sure his cover is going to captivate you as well.
In an earlier audition for the show, Travis did something unexpected yet amazing for his girlfriend while he was onstage.
