It is not always safe out there because, unfortunately, not everyone can be trusted. Here’s a story about a man who demonstrated he couldn’t be trusted and three women who foiled his plans and brought him to justice.
These three friends were dining at Fig, a Santa Monica, California, restaurant, when they noticed a man at a nearby table slip something into his date’s drink while she’s away in the bathroom.
“After a few ‘Oh god. What do we do,’ I got up to find her in the bathroom to tell her,” Sonia Ulrich explained on Facebook. “Warn her. Tell her to get up and leave this creep. Make him drink it. Something.”
“The poor woman had to sit through 40 more minutes, sitting across from ‘one of her best friends’ knowing that he was trying to drug her,” said Sonia. “Marla noticed him several times chinking his glass to hers to get her to drink. She played it cool.”
After the incident, the three took a “Charlie’s Angels” style photo and posted it on Facebook, where it received tens of thousands of views.
Police arrested and charged the man, Michael Hsu. Watch the full video below!
