Ever since the pandemic it seems like people have a lot of pent up anger. They’re angry at the media, at government and nearly any institution. And nowhere is that anger more evident than when you’re traveling by air.
Airlines reported substantial increases from 2020 to 2022 in the number of passenger incidents, everything from minor fracases to major meltdowns. And this clips shows one of the latter. She starts out with just profanity but it devolves to the point of physical violence.
The woman was asked by the flight crew to leave, apparently because of some issue with her dog, which was also on the flight. As the flight crew becomes insistent that she leaves, she starts swearing at the flight crew. That anger soon boils over to other passengers, who are filming the entire confrontation on their phones.
But the incident doesn’t stop with her physical abuse–she actually throws a water bottle at other passengers who she believes should not be filming her tantrum! After that, the flight crew says they are calling the police. The article doesn’t say what happened afterward, but one can assume this became a big problem for her.
