Westcoast Brace and Limb in Tampa is a pioneer in making prosthetic limbs and braces. From veterans to children to other physically challenged people they custom-make limbs and braces for everyone. But they never thought they would be making one for a canine. When they got this unusual request, they couldn’t deny it.
Spencer was found as a puppy by the Heinz family on their front door. The poor baby bulldog’s back legs were paralyzed and it is suspected that someone might have stepped on him as a puppy. Because of his condition, he had to drag himself wherever he went. He had wounds all over his legs due to the friction. But then his owners contacted Westcoast for artificial limbs. Even though they had never made one for a pooch before, they managed to make him a perfect match. After getting his custom-made limbs, Spencer finally got the chance to walk alongside his best buddy – Porkchop the blind pig!
