As part of their tour, two members of the Irish band Celtic Thunder covered Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence” and completely blew the audience away.
Colm Keegan and Keith Harkin are the young musicians that are dazzling audiences with their skills.
This is by far one of the best videos ever. Not only visually though. These men are quite good at what they do. They have recognized their talents and made efforts to work on them as well. This is what impresses me the most about these talented men. Moreover, they seem to be very invested in their performance while they’re at it.
The men perform the famous song, “Sound of Silence,” a classic folk rock song by the duo Simon & Garfunkel released in 1964. With its haunting lyrics and simple melodies, the song has become an iconic hit in the folk rock genre, and a timeless classic.
Let me be honest here, the song would sound good sung by just about anyone but this rendition hits me harder than nearly any other cover ever has.
