Here’s a video with a song you’ve probably heard many, many times. But it’s one of those tunes that never gets old and, when it’s performed like this, can truly make it a better day for anyone listening.
During the early 60s, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel ventured into the music world as “Simon and Garfunkel.” Singles from their first album, Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M., made it into the Billboard Top 50 with songs like “Hey, Schoolgirl” and “Tom and Jerry.”
But not too long after writing and recording this song, “The Sound of Silence,” Simon and Garfunkel broke up. When it started getting airplay in 1965, they quickly got back together and tried another album but their personal differences were just too great.
In this version, Emma Louise and Husky Gawenda prove they are no average singers either. They are exceptionally good and phenomenal singers, and a number of commenters said this is one of the best renditions of this song. This song is a must-listen for all music lovers.
