Age is just a number. You are only as old as you let yourself feel. There are young people with old souls and elderly people who never really age! It’s wonderful to see elderly people let their hair down and just be themselves. Nobody has to necessarily conform to all the expectations that are put on their age, and the lady in the following video illustrates this perfectly. Get ready to have some fun on the road with her!
You might know Patricia Polacco from her famous books and illustrations. She is a real trooper. She was diagnosed with dyslexia, and she struggled in school and couldn’t read until the age of 14 due to her condition. But she finally found her comfort zone when she started expressing herself through art. She is such an inspiration, and after watching the following video, you might find her even more inspiring.
Just because you’re older doesn’t mean you have to take yourself too seriously, and Patricia proves this point. In this clip, Patricia shows off her goofy side with everyone. She was on a ride with her friend Tammy when she heard Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock And Roll” on the radio. She loves the song, so she wasted no time in lip-syncing and singing along! Now, this is what a true road trip should be like!
Perhaps others like her will be inspired by Patricia’s free spirit. If only more people were comfortable with being themselves just like this lady!
