The video below features a heartwarming rescue that will no doubt bring a smile to your face. YouTube user, Bank Fishing, was walking to a lake in New Jersey when he came across an adorable little owl. Upon closer inspection, he found out that the poor thing was trapped and in desperate need of help. When he saw the owl in that state, he knew he had to help. He just couldn’t walk by the bird like he hadn’t seen him struggling.
The screech owl was flapping his wings, unable to free himself from the fishing line that he had gotten himself tangled in. The man decided to save him, so he took immediate action. With a make-shift equipment in his hand, he guy made his way closer to the stuck owl. As he got closer, the scared owl reacted in the only way he could – he tried to fly away. Sadly, this got him in even more trouble. Thankfully for him, the rescuer secured him before cutting him free.
The man noticed that the line was tangled around the bird’s wing more than he had first expected. So he began working on the owl.
