Pygmy goats are a miniature breed of domestic goat that is native to West Africa. They were first imported to the United States in the 1950s and quickly became popular as pets and for show purposes. Pygmy goats are incredibly hardy and incredibly intelligent, making them a great choice for those looking for a pet that is easy to care for.
They can be quite friendly and enjoy bonding with their owners, even learning their own names. Pygmy goats can also be trained to do tricks such as jumping and walking on a leash. They typically live about 10-12 years and are considered an excellent farm animal because they don’t eat much and they make everyone so happy!
And there’s just something about these little goats that makes us smile–especially when they are babies. Maybe it’s because, as the video says, they are the happies creatures in the world! I think that happiness is contagious!
These pygmy goats in the video are just 2 or 3 days old and their energy is infectious. The photographer calls what they are doing their “happy dance” and it makes just about everyone happy just to watch it. Have you seen anything this adorable??
