Labrador Retrievers are one of the most popular dog breeds in the world, due in part to their friendly and outgoing personalities. They are known for being intelligent, loyal, and eager to please, making them great family pets. They are also an excellent choice for both novice and experienced dog owners, as they are easy to train and have a gentle, loving nature.
Labrador Retrievers are certainly one of the most versatile dog breeds, and are often used as service animals, search and rescue dogs, and therapy dogs. But it appears that Labradors, or at least their puppies, may be a little trepidatious at trying new things.
Certainly all puppies can be hilarious, especially Labradors. This video features the Labrador puppy Charlie, who will surely make a good friend to his owner as he grows. But here, Charlie is not sure he completely, 100% trusts his owner because what’s on the spoon–peanut butter–is unfamiliar and doesn’t smell like anything he’s used to.
Charlie has a good sense of control. He’s interested in what’s on the spoon and he’s clearly used to his owner offering him things to eat. And as the video proceeds, it looks like the aroma of this delicious scoop drives him to want to take a good lick off the spoon.
At last, he ends up completely resisting the urge to eat the butter. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
