Siblings always have a special bond with one another. They can tell when the other person is happy, sad, or, in this case, fighting a deadly disease.
Though his sister was on her deathbed, the adorable little brother puppy wouldn’t leave her side. He hugged her and assured them that no matter the pain, they will be alright at last.
The veterinary clinic in Cairo, Egypt, received a pair of pups, one male and one female. Both had Parvo, a fatal disease, and were trying to overcome it. It’s not only serious but also fatal.
The American Kennel Club explains: “Parvo in puppies is caused by the canine parvovirus. This virus is highly contagious and spreads through direct contact with an infected dog or by indirect contact with a contaminated object. Your puppy is exposed to the parvovirus every time he sniffs, licks, or consumes infected feces. Indirect transmission occurs when a person who has recently been exposed to an infected dog touches your puppy, or when a puppy encounters a contaminated object, like a food or water bowl, collars and leashes, and the hands and clothing of people who handle infected dogs,”
But maybe it was the brother’s prayer or vet’s spirit of not giving up or both, a miracle happened. The treatment started working on the first 4-days. And the brother recovered easily. But that was not the case for the sister. She was still fighting on the deathbed. And after countless sleepless nights and tears, she eventually recovered.
Now, they both are healthy and happy. They have become even closer as siblings because of all the things they had to survive together. Right now, they have absolutely no obstacles; even Parvo disease doesn’t stand a chance. Watch the full video here:
