Potatoes are the top-tier food for me when it comes to consuming carbohydrates. There is no wrong way to cook this delicious treat. Make it a side dish as fries or a movie snack like chips, even better potato salads. This precious food can be turned into any food, and they come out Yummy. We might have a dozen recipes on potatoes, yet it never ceases us to explore more ways to make it finger-licking.
Today we have two recipes that can easily impress your taste buds or your loved ones’.
Bread Crumb Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 1kg Potatoes.
- 40 gm of bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. thyme
- Five cloves of garlic, minced
- 50ml of olive oil
- Salt and black pepper according to taste.
First of all, preheat your oven to 180 C (356 F). Now mix your magic potion. Add the bread crumbs, thyme, garlic, salt, pepper, and oil to a bowl and mix it properly. Now cut your potatoes into six slices, moderate pieces. Place a parchment paper in an oven rack. Coat the slices with the mixture and put them on the rack. Cook for forty minutes, and just like that, you have delicious side-dish. Enjoy it with ketchup or Mayo.
Holes in Potatoes
This recipe definitely sounds tricky, but nothing we can’t tame.
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 50 ml of vegetable oil
- 1 tsp of Herbs de Provence
- 1/2 tsp dried garlic
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- Salt and black pepper according to taste.
Take your melon ball cutter and make round holes in the potatoes. Around 4-6 holes each is enough. Now place the potatoes in cold water. In the meantime, mix your herbs into the bowl like the previous recipe. Add Herbs de Provence, dried garlic, turmeric, salt, pepper, and oil to the bowl. Coat the potatoes and the balls with the mixture. For the tiny balls, pop them into the oven over 180 C or 350 F for 25minutes. The bigger ones need to stay a little longer for at least forty-minute before you can enjoy them. Don’t forget to use parchment paper.
