An unexpected stranger bumped into these Colorado Sheriffs. And the conversation that took place makes everyone’s day…
The two police deputies from Boulder were driving close to a campground. That’s when they spotted this cutest furball. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office gained international fame this week thanks to an adorable baby owl that was first spotted by a deputy driving through a campground on Thursday.
The department posted a video of the owl to its YouTube channel on Friday, and it went viral immediately, gaining over 3 million views in less than 48 hours. The department shared:
“A tiny owl with a catlike face, oversized head, and bright yellow eyes, the Northern Saw-whet Owl is practically bursting with attitude. It has a very sophisticated hearing due to vertically asymmetrical ears and different shapes of ear openings. These Owls hunt mainly at dusk and dawn and most often use the “sit and wait” tactic to drop down onto prey on the ground from low hunting perches. Maybe this little guy is trying to set a trap.”
