I’ve noticed my little pooch getting a little excited when I use his favorite word, whether it’s a phone call or a conversation with family members. Words like walk, good boy, treat, meat… begin to make him smile from ear to ear and run in a circle. I thought my dog was strange for doing so, but after seeing this viral TikTok, I can confidently say that he is perfectly normal.
In the video posted by Rosieandmack on Instagram, a 5-year-old Dachshund named Rosie sits on a bed while looking cute. Her mom starts a fake phone call, one which incorporates every one of Rosie’s favorite words, including “grandma,” “treat,” “car ride,” and “walk,” in order to capture her attention. The puppy turns her head as she looks back and forth in excitement. “Stick,” “chicken,” and “outside” make her respond.
Even the ridiculous lies are funny—you can just tell when you see “Hello, I’m trying to reach the squirrel.” Hysterical!
