We post a lot of animal rescue stories because they are heartwarming and usually the little animals are just so cute. Here’s a great one that we get to see from the very beginning all the way to the happy end.
Joy was an abandoned newborn puppy that the rescuers found on the sidewalk in Romania. Like all newborn puppies, he was blind, deaf, toothless and unable to survive on his own. Many times, orphaned newborns don’t live even after rescue because they are so fragile. Luckily he was taken in by a couple who knew what they were doing and he did make it.
This great video shows the puppy being raised from the start. The couple feeds him from a bottle, keeps it warm and gives it a stuffed tiger to keep it company.
As Joy got older, he realized he had a couple of big brother dogs and they all got to be great friends. After four months, a family from the Netherlands adopted Joy and made the 2500 km trip just to pick him up! The video has great pictures of Joy as he grew up, so watch until the end!
