Becoming a mother is the most beautiful feeling in the world. You just can’t help but love and care for your baby since the time they come to this world, even if you know their life–and yours–is going to be difficult.
A mom shared her story on the internet and one can’t help but tear up. This mom is truly the most loving and amazing mom one can ever get. She knew her daughters were very special and beautiful when she gave birth to them. But, she was also ready to face the judgments of other people. Because her twins had Mosaic Down Syndrome, also known as mosaic trisomy 21, which is a rare form of Down syndrome that occurs when a person has a mixture of two types of cells in their body.
Some cells have an extra copy of chromosome 21, which is the cause of Down syndrome, while other cells have the typical two copies of chromosome 21. This occurs when an error in cell division during early fetal development results in some cells having an extra copy of chromosome 21, while others have the typical number.
Now, we know how hard society makes it for people with difficulties to live with their cruel judgments. But, this mom makes sure she shuts everyone who has something negative to say.
