The global pandemic has been giving a tough time to all the single moms while shopping. Mostly in America, children under 16 are not allowed to go inside the supermarket.
Mary Ann is a 41-year-old single mom from Texas who has no one to look after her little daughter. She needed to shop for groceries all the time but couldn’t leave her daughter alone either. However, Mary came up with a brilliant idea and strapped a sign on her daughter’s back.
The sign said,” I am only five. I can’t stay home alone so I have to buy groceries with mommy. Before you start judging, stay back six feet.” Mary took this step although she was aware of the backlash she would be getting. Mary also wrote in a Facebook status that she takes every possible safety measure while getting groceries with her daughter.
Thankfully, many supporters came ahead and shared similar stories on Facebook.
