Scientists suggest there are actually a number of biological and psychological reasons why baby laughter is so contagious. First, babies have a unique and infectious laugh that is often high-pitched and unencumbered by self-consciousness or inhibition. This can trigger a positive emotional response in adults and make them feel happy and lighthearted.
Secondly, research suggests that human beings have a natural inclination towards mimicry, and this is particularly true in social situations. When we see or hear someone laughing, our brains may automatically mirror that behavior, causing us to laugh as well.
But whatever the reason, I think we can all agree nothing is more contagious and hilarious than a baby’s laughter. If you are in a bad mood, go watch a baby video, it will lift you up for sure. This clip features a little baby and her four-legged friend. You will be laughing out loud when you see what happens here!
