Dogs can be trained to do all sorts of things. They have been trained by the military to help with sniffing out explosives in the field. Due to their social nature, people have started to train them to be therapy dogs too.
Their company can do wonders in making a patient feel better during depressing times. The dog in this video is also training to be a therapy dog. Misa Minnie was just 31 weeks old when this video was taken. This tiny Yorkshire Terrier isn’t just a cute face though—she is really smart as well. She has learned to do so many tricks, and they are all incredible.
She is perfect at rolling over, playing dead and walking through tunnels. She has even learned how to knock down a huge stack cups like a pro! While this may look easy, training a dog to do this is quite hard. The fact that Misa makes it look so easy is incredible. You can imagine how patient her trainer had to be to teach her all these tricks.
Her trainer firmly believes that positive reinforcement is the key to training dogs, along with lots of love and treats. Misa shows a deep understanding of so many words. Her vocabulary is quite impressive for a 31 week old dog, but that’s what you get for training with positivity and love! Misa will certainly be a wonderful therapy dog. With a perky and cheerful dog like Misa, her patients are sure to feel better instantly!
