Soren Boedker Madsen was born in the year 1956 in Denmark. The talented man obtained his diploma in 1982 from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, where he also learned classical guitar. Likewise, Madsen expanded his studies by studying under Stepan Rak at the Prague Music Conservatory.
In 1986, he stood first in the International Kutna Hora guitar competition in Czechoslovakia, which attracted over 100 competitors. We’ll see him play a breath-taking classical guitar cover of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” in this video.
