Robert Benac III from Bradenton in Florida is the one behind the lens. The men, including Michael Wenzel and Spencer Heintz, are having a good time seeing the shark suffer. The video features these men dragging a shark by a rope connected to their boat. They made sure to drive the boat at a speed high enough to shred the shark to pieces. Since this incident, more videos have been leaked showing the men shooting sharks and forcing beer down other fish’s throats.
However, even after showcasing such foul behavior, Benac III will be serving merely 10 days in jail, that too on weekends. He paid $2,500 as fine and was obligated to serve 250 hours of community service at an animal shelter. Moreover, his fishing license has been suspended for 3 years.
