There are some songs that I just can’t get bored of hearing and “You Raise Me Up” is undoubtedly one of them. It was originally written and recorded by the Norwegian duo Secret Garden, and over the years, it has been performed by hundreds of other artists. Westlife’s version made the song reach new heights of popularity, and it has been listed as one of the best contemporary Christian songs of all time.
The following video shows a breathtaking performance of the song by the group formerly known as The 12 Tenors, now known as The Kingdom Tenors. They made it all the way to the semi-finals on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015, with Simon Cowell saying he was blown away by them and Amanda Holden telling them “it was bloody brilliant!”
It’s amazing how even after hearing this many times, this rendition give you goosebumps. All the men in this group have amazing voices individually, but when they combine it, the sound just reaches another level of brilliance!
With a performance like that, no wonder they won the crowd’s heart! Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
