He Was Abandoned at Birth Because of His Rare Disorder, but Now, the Tables Have Turned

Jono Lancaster was abandoned by his parents after just 36 hours since his birth. Jono was born with a rare genetic disorder called Treacher Collins Syndrome (TCS), which caused his face to be disfigured. This condition affects bones and tissues development and it happens in about 1 out of 50,000 births. The disorder damages the physical appearance of a person, but it has no effects on his mental development.

The guy suffered a lot and he resented his parents for it. It is quite understandable really. He went through depression as a child. But his strong will turned his obstacle into a gift. Jono now travels to different countries all over the world to spread awareness about TCS. He visits children going through the same condition he went through and he supports and encourages them. He just hopes for a brighter world for everyone. What an inspirational man!
