Kids are a handful if you have ever gone grocery shopping with these daredevils. You will be able to relate to this joked posted on the r/Jokes page of Reddit. It’s hilarious, and in these rough times, a joke won’t hurt anybody.
Toddlers don’t care much about social presence, well, most of them anyway. So, once you take one in the department stores, they run from aisle to aisle, wanting every toy, sweet, that their eyes can spot and hands can grab. Similar is the context of this joke. A grandad is shopping with his grandson, who is all over the place.
A woman shopping with three children notices the actions of grandpa. She can hear his calm voice repeating, “Easy, William, we won’t belong. Easy, boy.” Another outburst comes from the cranky boy. “It’s alright, William, just a few more minutes, and we’ll be out of here. Hang in there, boy.” Right around the checkout line, the toddler is throwing items out of the cart.
The elderly man repeats in a gentle voice, “William, William, relax buddy, don’t get upset. We’ll be home in five short minutes” By this point. The woman is clearly impressed. The man walks out, puts his grandson inside the car, and starts unloading the items. She says,” ‘It’s none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don’t know how you did it.” William is very blessed to have you as his grandpa. The reply that you will read next will leave you hysterical. “Thanks,” said the grandfather, “but I’m William. The little brat’s name is Kevin.”
Maybe we should all use this trick. What do you think? Please share your thoughts in the feed.
