Dogs are said to be man’s best friend, and not without reason. They are extremely loyal and loving towards their owners. They are even willing to put down their lives on the line to keep their owners and their families safe. Some breeds tend to be more overprotective than others. For instance, German Shepherds, Rottweiler and Doberman dogs are more suited to be guards. Sometimes, their protective instincts go to extreme lengths.
For instance, just take a look at the German Shepherd in the following video. Cats and dogs are said to be the biggest enemies, but there are some exceptions. You might have seen cats and dogs getting along, but these two take it to another level. One of the German Shepherds is extremely protective about the ginger cat, and refuses to let her friend come close to the beloved kitty!
When the other German Shepherd tried to sniff the kitty and come close to it, she made it very clear that he was crossing some boundaries! The poor pooch wasn’t really harming the cat or even touching him, but the overprotective dog kept barking to let him know he was not allowed to do that! She didn’t even let him go near the other cat. She wasn’t playing around either—you can see just how intensely protective she was!
