“What Would You Do?” is a situational hidden camera television program that has been broadcasted on ABC since February 26, 2008. It is hosted by news correspondent John Quiñones and was created by Chris Whipple. Using hidden cameras, host, Quiñones, observes and comments on how ordinary people behave when they are confronted with dilemmas that require them either to take action or to walk by and mind their own business.
Various scenarios are created that force people to make split-second and often surprising decisions. The following video was recorded at a grocery store in New Jersey. An actress disguised herself as a single mother of four children. Then she went into the store for some shopping. But to her dismay, she doesn’t have enough money to pay at the counter since her family is portrayed to be living off of food stamps. The show wanted to find out if other customers would come to her rescue.
You are going to be glad when you see the results. We normally tend to judge people too fast. We make various kinds of assumptions about them without actually thinking clearly for a second. Before judging anybody, we need to try and understand the circumstances people are going through.
Helping others binds us together as humans. Watch the video below. What would you have done? Don’t forget to share in the comments section!
