We’ve all been there: you’re at the airport, waiting for a flight and the cancellation notices start. Pretty soon you’re there for hours. And it never fails, the restaurants and shops close and you’re sitting around with nothing to do. It’s easy to see why people get irritable and frustrated. Well here’s some guys who decided to do something about it.
These three are members of a band called The Gentlemen Trio, or GENTRI for short. It’s composed of three tenors: Brad Robins, Casey Elliott and Bradley Quinn Lever. There’s a fourth member too, Stephen Nelson, but he’s a composer, arranger and producer, not one of the singers.
According to their website, GENTRI have been featured on news outlets around the world including ABC World News, NBC Nightly News and Inside Edition. In this video, they are in the Kansas City Airport when the above-mentioned delays start and they decide to sing a little to life everyone’s spirits.
They do a wonderful Hawaiian-style rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and I’m pretty sure it will lift your spirits just like it did the passengers. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
