In the morning of September 11, 2001, the world stood still. TV channels broadcasted shocking news concerning terrorist attacks unlike anything anyone had ever heard about before. We lost many innocent lives that day. It has been 15 years since those devastating attacks, but they still remain fresh in our memories. Even thinking about it gives me chills.
The video below features a beautiful tribute to the survivors and the fallen of the 9/11 tragedy. The person who put this together says it was hard to make, but he wanted to honor the men and women who put their lives on the line that day, and also the men and women who lost their lives. New York City turned to the first responders as they fled towards the nightmarish scene.
The video shows footage of cops and firemen bravely walking into the Twin Towers just moments before their collapse. It also shows archive footage of all of the heroes of the day.
We will never forget.
