Often times, it’s the smallest things in life that give us the most joy. There are so many things we take for granted, but every little thing contributes to our happiness. Imagine not having a bed to sleep on your entire life. You might take the bed for granted now, but once it’s gone, you’ll realize how important it is. The poor pooch in the following video never had a bed her whole life.
Meet Delilah. This tiny dog had a traumatic past. She had been trapped in a puppy mill, forced to live in a rusty cage. Bearing litter after litter of puppies was also taking a toll on her body. Thankfully, she was rescued by the National Mill Dog Rescue. This video shows her reaction after getting her own little bed for the first time in her life.
Look at how happy she is! She can’t stop wagging her tail and rolling all around the soft bedding. No dog deserves to go what she went through. Despite her sad past, she looks so happy now. What an incredible spirit!
