Dolphins are one of the smartest animals around and here’s a story about a woman who is glad they are.
Professor Caus Cauvranvani had just purchased a new boat and gone through five days of safety training. On his maiden voyage off the coast of Marina Del Rey, California, he followed a pod of dolphins and realized, up ahead, a person was waving their arm in the water. “I would have never, ever seen her if it wasn’t for the dolphins,” he said.
The woman had been in the water almost 12 hours and according to the LA Fire Dept. Lifeguards, she could not have survived much longer. I’m sure she’s glad the dolphins are as smart as they are.
