There are a lot of small things that we take for granted. We don’t take a moment to think about how lucky we are for the house that shelters us. Or even the soft and cozy bed that we sleep in. It takes a person who doesn’t have the luxury to experience such things, to see its value. Or, in this case, an adorable pooch!
Unfortunately, even in this day and age, puppy mills still exist. Here, illegal operators breed dogs for a quick buck. The facilities are poorly equipped, and often, dogs are enclosed in cramped cages 24/7. Delilah spent nine years in a puppy mill until 2014 when National Mill Dog Rescue saved her. That’s when she saw a bed for the first time in her life. And her reaction will touch your heart!
Delilah, who has lived in a wire cage for the entirety of her life, steps on a bed for the first time. At first, she smells the fluffy white fabric because she isn’t familiar with it. But soon enough she figures it out and then she just can’t get enough of it! Furthermore, the ecstatic dog rolls around and cuddles in the soft surface. Awww! Watch the cute video below:
