A crying baby can be a big fuss. Many of us really don’t know what to do when a baby starts crying.
Pediatricians have a different and more appropriate way of doing so. Dr. Hamilton says, “Parents have learned it and have experienced great success at home,”. The steps he outlines in the video below begin with picking up the baby. Also, just make sure to be extra gentle and cautious when you do this.
He then advises to:
1. Fold the baby’s arms across the chest.
2. Secure their arms gently.
3. Grasp the diaper area.
4. Gently rock at a 45-degree angle. Gently shake their booty and rock them up and down.
Trust us, it really works but makes sure to do things very carefully. Watch the full video below!
