You hear “age is just a number” and “you’re only as old as you feel” and a number of other platitudes about getting old, but if you’re living it sometimes it feels pretty serious. On the other hand, when you see a video like this, you can certainly get inspired to keep going with your passion, even when it hurts.
Austrian couple Dietmar Ehrentraut, 70, and his wife Nellia, 64, have been dancing together for over 60 years. Their specialty is swing and boogie-woogie, and they are some of the best in the world at it.
Dietmar and Nellia are no strangers to titles as they have been awarded many over the course of time. Such as the Veterans’ Cup for their incredible routine and countless amateur competitions.
This video shows the Ehrentrauts competing at the Rock That Swing Festival in 2020 at the Deutsches Theater in Munich, Germany. Clearly the crowd is familiar with them as they give them a standing ovation before they even begin to perform! I loved the love the dancing in this and think you’re going to love it as well!
