Many people believe Deliverance to be one of the greatest movies of all times. It is an American drama thriller that was released in 1972. One of the most iconic scenes from this movie has once again caught everyone’s attention and it is still as awesome as it was back then! The movie is incredible and this scene just gives me chills every time I watch it.
It features Lonnie (Billy Redden), a mentally challenged, but extremely talented banjo player, playing alongside Drew Ballinger (Ronny Cox). This movie brought Dueling Banjos up the surface! Their performance is mind-blowing to say the least. The composition was done by Arthur Smith and it was originally called Feudin’ Banjos.
