In one of the biggest surprises ever in a Got Talent show, two little girls tell Dad, who’s in the audience, that he’s been accepted as a contestant. He repays them with one of the most beautiful love songs ever between a father and daughter.
We’re used to surprises on talent shows and this one doesn’t disappoint: Dad Nick Edwards thinks the his daughters, Savannah and Callie, are at home with his mother when SURPRISE, the girls walk onto the stage with Grandma to announce he needs to come up and sing. This part is touching enough but nothing compared to what follows.
After taking some time to compose himself while other acts perform, Dad walks onstage and delivers a heart-rending serenade for two his two little girls–and in the process moves nearly every mother and father everywhere to tears. He sings, “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Ernie Halter, a tribute to his adorable daughters, and it’s completely wonderful.
