It’s always a great feeling when you either help an animal in desperate needs or witness someone do it. It is a kind of act that restores our faith in humanity. So watching this couple rescue a giant moose stuck in an icy lake was a treat.
The couple from Sweden were on a lunch date when they saw something strange on the icy lake. At first glance, they thought it was a floating piece of rock that someone might’ve thrown. But noticing something wrong, they checked again with their binoculars. And what they saw was devastating.
The couple saw that a moose was stuck in the icy lake. They carried their ice skates, an axe, and ice pick and rushed to the lake. And when they reached the spot, they could see the moose struggling. The moose was tired, weak, cold, and could barely hold herself.
