Scotty McCreery won millions of hearts back in 2011 and won the tenth season of American Idol. He then went on to become one of the most well-known country singers. But he was able to do it all over again when he teamed up with multiple artists for an amazing cause.
In 2017 Radio Disney started an incredible initiative. They, along with Radio Disney teamed up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. And they recreated the 1993 classic “Angels Among Us” by the country band Alabama.
Scotty McCreery shared the mic with artists like Hunter Hayes, Sara Evans, Carly Pearce, Lucy Hale, Tegan Marie, Brennley Brown, Temecula Road, RaeLynn, Jillian Jacqueline, and CB30. And the beautiful rendition of the holiday song was recorded in front of some of the patients of the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
The artists came together to record the beautiful song and to raise donations for the children’s hospital. Radio Disney would also donate $25,000 to support the hospital’s effort in curing childhood cancer.
