Parrots and cockatoos are capable of dancing to the beat of music and even adapting to the changing rhythms, which is a behavior seen in humans. They can also move their bodies to match the tempo and can imitate sounds and movements.
Scientists have also found that these birds use dance to communicate, for example by moving their wings or heads in a certain way to indicate a change in the environment, such as danger or food. But, Snowball the cockatoo might just be the bird that takes the cake for his amazing dance talent!
Snowball’s owner posted a video of him dancing to the famous song, “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen.
