“Two guys walk into Walmart at 3 am…” sounds like the start of a joke. But the talent these men have is no laughing matter. And it’s even more impressive when you look at the instruments they use to pull this off!
Clay Shelburn and Zac Stokes look like average shoppers headed through the children’s toys at Walmart. But when they pick up a toy guitar and start to film, it’s magic! They break into their own rendition of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Pride and Joy” and they don’t disappoint.
The 1983 song made Stevie a household name and it had an infectious rhythm that captures the essence of classic blues. And just like Stevie, Clay’s guitar work is incredible–especially considering it’s a plastic instrument! And it’s hilarious at the end when they pan over to see the shelf full of Barbie dolls to prove their in a Walmart toy aisle.
