People who live together tend to develop the habits of the other people in the household. It turn out that adage isn’t just applicable to people–if there are animals in your household, there’s a chance you’ll copy them too. Or at least that’s what this video seems to show.
Ginius de Wijk is a chicken farmer in Zuidbroek, which is in the province of Groningen in the Netherlands. At a small animal show there, reporter Rob Mulder with Expeditie Grunnen is interviewing Ginius when the hilarious footage below is captured on camera. It doesn’t matter at all that the interview is in Dutch–you’ll figure out pretty quick what’s happening.
Keep in mind Ginius is surrounded by chickens all day every day. And like we said above, when you’re around something that much, there’s a good chance you’ll pick up some of their habits. And in this case, it appears Ginius has picked up the habit of sounding exactly like a chicken when he laughs.
The reporter really could not help but crack at this, along with the 3+ million people who have watched it on the internet. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
