There are lots of homeless animals in the world. Sadly, not much has been done for them. They are forced to live out alone on the streets where they don’t have proper food, shelter, or even a decent roof above their heads. They have to fend for themselves through it all. Some of them do get rescued, but not all of them get out of it alive. The video below features a story about one of these homeless creatures. And it is surely going to move your heart.
The stray kitten in the clip had no place to call home, so she somehow ended up wandering into the Leningrad Zoo in St. Petersburg, Russia. The cat then sneaked into a enclosure meant for a Eurasian Lynx. Now one might imagine the danger of sharing space with a lynx, but this cat had nothing to worry about. Because the lynx reacted to the intruder in the most incredible way. She didn’t hurt the small cat, rather, they ended up forming one of the strongest bonds ever!
The staff at the zoo found out about the kitten, but they could not send her away. They adopted her instead. They named the kitten Dusja, and now the cat lives together with her best buddy, Linda. It has been years since the cat and the lynx met, but they are still inseparable!
