Today’s movies make it seem like anything’s possible. Through the magic of computer graphics, we can see flying superheroes and fire-breathing dragons. The current state of cinema is exciting. But you have to look at its history to be able to appreciate how far we’ve come. Enter — Buster Keaton.
Joseph Frank “Buster” Keaton was an American actor, comedian, stuntman, director, producer, and screenwriter. Markedly, he is known for his trademark physical comedies. Contrarily, he would keep a deadpan expression throughout his acts. As a result, he earned the nickname “The Great Stone Face.”

Additionally, he did not use any wires, special effects, or stunt doubles. This man did it for real! Isn’t it amazing to know that Buster Keaton made such creative films almost a century ago?
