For centuries, ice skating has been one of the favorite activities for individuals to enjoy during the harsh winter. Initially invented by Scandinavians, the sport is still enjoyed by many who partake in it or watch the show.
Gliding over the frozen water is undoubtedly one of the most exhilarating experiences.
A clip below captures a duo between a mother and daughter. “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” originally by Simon and Garfunkel, but the cover version by Linda Eder begins to play once the contestants slide towards the ice rinks. Runa Maeda and Taryn Jurgensen enter the stage, twinning in pink. The talented pair belong to the age group, yet somehow both of them showcase an array of remarkable moves.
During their act, the powerful duo displays amazing stunts, with many jumps and lifts. The crowd roars over every defined step they display. The pair tells a story as they skate, intending to entertain the audience. Furthermore, their soft touch towards the ending no doubt is capable of bringing anyone to tears.
The dance was choreographed by Taryn Jurgensen herself with some help from Bobby Beauchamp. They come in second place in the “Tai Babilonia Trophy.”I hope you enjoy watching the lovely and well-structured performance as a team. With flawless and in sync steps. Do share your thoughts in the feed.
