Bob Marley has a legacy that no generation can ever forget. And, it is almost impossible to even think of someone having as much talent as Marley.
Born Robert Nesta Marley in February 1945 on the island of Jamaica, Marley was highly influential in the 1960s and 70s. His first big international hit was a remake of Eric Clapton’s “I Shot the Sheriff” in 1975. He died in 1981 of skin cancer and the music world has mourned his passing ever since.
But a contestant in The Voice – Holland took everyone’s breath away with his Marley-like performance. This phenomenal performer is Mitchell Brunings. Brunings came to stage just like any other performer. Although the audience had expected the best of him, none expected him to sound this good.
As the man sings “Redemption Song”, the judges cannot even believe their ears. The man has an absolutely perfect vocal. Mitchell Brunings sounds like Bob Marley. And everyone knows how good one has to be to sound like the legendary singer.
This talented man later went on to become a runner-up in the show. Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!
