Many people on the internet were surprised when they saw this; mainly because horse giving birth to twins is very rare. The tiny foals in the clip are only four days old. One of them is called Lisa and the other is Fien. At one point in the video, a little girl approaches the family to play with them. Belgian draft horses are well-known for their friendliness and their strength. You are going to melt when you see how they respond to the human child.
When horses have babies, they usually have just one. Twins are seldom born. Even if they do bear twins, one of them usually dies. Or even if they both survive, the foals end up being really weak and small. However, miracles do happen from time to time, and the owners of this farm were stunned when they saw that their horse had indeed pulled a miracle. Both the foals are doing well.
