They call Disneyland “the happiest place on earth”, and for four year old Alyssa and her one year old brother, Liam, it rang true. They were at Disneyland when they got the biggest surprise of their lives. At the start of the video, we see Alyssa hold hands with Snow White and walk over to Snow White’s wishing well. The little girl told the Disney princess that she wished for her dad to come home. Her father works in the marines and was deployed in Afghanistan.
But unknown to Alyssa and Liam, he had just returned home. In order to give her children a big surprise, their mother got in contact with the Disneyland team, who helped them plan and organize the whole thing. You are going to be touched when you see how the little girl reacts when she sees her dad a few seconds after she declares her wish. It is the cutest thing ever! Their magical reunion has won the hearts of over a million people on the internet.
According to mom, after the reunion Alyssa stuck to her dad’s side, and every few minutes kept saying, “I missed you Daddy.” It took Liam a bit more time to feel comfortable, but by the end of the day he was also sitting on dad’s lap, happy as a clam. She says that later that night, as he tucked the little girl into bed, she put both hands on the sides of his face and said, “Daddy, my wish came true.”
