While I can’t even remember what I had for lunch two weeks ago, the legendary dancer Jean Veloz can re-enact a choreography 74 years later that she first did for a movie called “Swing Fever” in 1943. That itself defines the passion of this 93 years old woman. Something that can last almost three-quarters of a century is truly extraordinary.
Jean was only in her last teenage year when she first performed this musical number. During the annual National Jitterbug Championship/Camp Hollywood Swing Dance event in LA, she showed the same routine step for step without any errors. Initially, the host invites the talented woman after brief praise of her history and triumphs.
Furthermore, they even show the crowd the original video in the background as they pull off the dance. Jean clearly has the memory of it all as she hardly misses a bit. The performance is truly remarkable and outstanding. Without a doubt, the woman deserves every cheer and applause coming from the crowd. Don’t you think?
