We’ve all seen videos of cute kids and this one is no exception. The saying, “kids say the darndest things” is never more true than when speaking to toddlers about what they do and don’t want. It’s also an axiom that boys, especially young boys, will at times say they don’t like girls.
Well in this cute video, a three-year-old boy tells us about how much he doesn’t want a sister and he doesn’t even have one yet! The setup is that Mom and Dad are going to film the little boy’s reaction when they tell him about the new baby that’s coming soon. I’ve seen enough internet videos to know this can go either way–a very sweet reaction, or a sour face that can also be pretty funny.
It turns out there’s no sugar in this boy’s reaction: he definitely does not want a sister. “I don’t want anything, just a boy, another boy!” he says vehemently. “It’ll be fun to have a little sister,” Mom says. His comeback: “But not a girl!”
