Here’s a heartwarming video of animal companionship and how a pet can feel protective of a human he’s only just met.
The three Alaskan Malamutes, or “Huskies,” in this video are Teddy, Niko and Phil. They’re the stars of YouTube channel Life with Malamutes, which has nearly 900,000 subscribers and over 580 million views on YouTube.
In this video, Teddy is meeting his newborn baby brother for the first time. “Who would have thought we would get this reaction!” said Mom of this meeting. “The size of this dog! Its just so pure to see this type of rection from a dog and to understand how loving and caring they can actually be. They understand more than we give them credit.”
“Teddy is an amazing and gentle giant!,” she said. “His ears are always back as a sign of submission, that’s just the way he’s always been. Even when he was 8 weeks old and he met Amelia [their daughter] at 6 months old, the sheer joy on his face was a delight to watch!”
